Staff Handbook

Field Trips

 Field Trips will be organized by the teacher overseeing the activity. A checklist (see attachments below) will assist you in ensuring that all the necessary procedures are followed and completed. Please include this along with all other required forms when submitting a request for a Field Trip. All information must be completed in order to begin processing your request. Submit your completed request, along with this checklist to Monica Martinez in our Main Office.  As a reminder, all field trips to sites on approved list now require a 45 day processing ​window to ensure all paperwork is in place.  All Forms required to be completed as you plan your field trip can be found below.  Please note that there is an updated LAUSD field trip handbook.  Please review it to ensure all appropriate steps are followed.


Student Activities & Fundraising

Our Financial Manager, Ms. Tubola, and Ms. Cruz, the AP over Student Government will support with all fundraising and activity requests.  Requests must be submitted 3 weeks in advance.   All required fundraising forms can be found on this page, along with Publication 465, which outlines the guidelines to follow for fundraisers and activities.   Once you have completed your fundraising form and an activity sheet, you can submit to Ms. Tubola in the Student Store; she will work with Student Government for approval  (all fundraising needs to go through Student Government for approval during their official weekly minutes meeting).  Please do not reach out to students in Student Government directly to process any paperwork as they are not authorized to approve paperwork that is not being presented in an official Student Government Minutes Meeting, which take place once a week during Student Government class.  If you have any questions please see Ms. Tubola or Ms. Cruz.

2017-2018 Calendar

Below are the important dates for the 2017-2018, pending SDMC Approval. 
(EDST) Educator Development & Support: Teachers  

If you would like to place an order with your IMA fund, first  speak with your department chair to find out how much you are allowed to spend individually or in a group. Second, please use the  Requisition Form (see below) to order from the LAUSD Warehouse, if you are not using LAUSD Warehouse, please make sure you get a quote from the vendor you would like to purchase along with the requisition form. Third,  return your Requisition form to your department chair.



Titan Department Chairs: once you have the requisition ready from individuals or in a group, please submit it to Edith De La Cruz in person on Tuesdays only, between 8:30 am. – 4:00 p.m.  Please keep track of how much your Department is spending.   All orders are due by December 15, 2017.
